Artificial Intelligence Research Group
NAIRG, founded in 2022, is an independent research group dedicated to exploring the intersection of neuroscience, neoplasia, and artificial intelligence. Initially established in the Department of Neuroscience at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences (UMSHA), the group has since evolved beyond any institutional affiliation, focusing instead on advancing scientific understanding and real-world applications in these fields. We operate entirely on passion, without external funding, and were formed out of a recognized necessity to bridge these disciplines.
Our Mission
At NAIRG, our mission is to advance AI-driven research in neuroscience and oncology by integrating machine learning, bioinformatics, and multi-omics data analysis. We aim to enhance the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological disorders and cancers through predictive modeling, biomarker discovery, and explainable AI (XAI). By bridging computational research with clinical practice, we strive to develop innovative, interpretable, and impactful solutions that drive precision medicine forward.
